What If It Rains on the Day I Booked My Family Photoshoot?
You may be planning a family shoot and want to do it outside. After all the effort you put into finding a photographer, selecting a location, and planning everyone’s outfits, you don’t want to be caught in the rain during your shoot.
Here Are My Solutions If It Rains on Your Photoshoot Date
Let’s have an in-home session! Although I photograph my family outdoors, I always do newborn sessions in the client’s home. Each and every one. I’ve never lived in a house I couldn’t work with. Your home is your heart. Your children’s childhoods will take place in your home. We can take beautiful photos in your home, so we don’t need to reschedule.
We can reschedule if you are set on an outdoor location. As a Florida photographer for over ten years, I make sure to leave time in my schedule for family sessions. Although some years can be more difficult than others, I have always been able to get all sessions done in time to print holiday cards. This may mean that you need to be flexible, such as meeting on a weekday night.
It’s possible that we need to alter the time of your photoshoot. This is because the weather is a bit unpredictable. I won’t cancel a photoshoot unless it is scheduled. Sometimes we can just move your session an hour to avoid the rain. It doesn’t have to be raining, I don’t mind clouds.
