NEW YORK (AP) — Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri has a memoir coming out this slide in which she will recount her personalized struggles, decades of activism and her final decision to operate for workplace in 2020, when she grew to become the initially Black girl from her point out elected to Congress.
Publisher Alfred A. Knopf introduced Monday it will release “The Forerunner: A Memoir by Congresswoman Cori Bush” on Oct. 3.
“In ‘The Forerunner,’ she courageously lays bare her experience as a least-wage employee, a survivor of domestic and sexual violence, and an unhoused dad or mum — a raw and going account that is abnormal for a politician,” the Knopf assertion reads in part. The reserve is also a “call to motion for political management to prioritize the needs of marginalized communities.”
