Arlo Parks Joins Phoebe Bridgers at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival

Around the weekend, Phoebe Bridgers manufactured her Coachella Valley New music and Arts Festival debut at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. The functionality showcased a Punisher-significant setlist and a sit-in by British singer and poet Arlo Parks.
The established kicked off with a recording of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Issues,” adopted by “Motion Sickness” off Bridgers’ 2017 debut LP, Stranger in the Alps. The 27-calendar year-outdated rocker then busted into tunes from her 2020 album, Punisher, such as “DVD Menu,” “Garden Music,” and “Kyoto,” just before carrying out the LP’s title track.
Midway as a result of the 12-tune set, Bridgers performed “Scott Street” and “Chinese Satelite.” She adopted with “Moon Song” and ICU” ahead of carrying out “Sidelines,” a song she debuted days prior, on April 13 at Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix. Read the whole tale listed here.
The final two tunes of Bridgers’ Coachella debut saw her welcome Parks on phase to choose on “Graceland Too” and “I Know the Finish.” The latter released her debut LP Collapsed in Sunbeams in 2021. The album was nominated for Ideal Choice Tunes Album at the 64th Yearly Grammy Awards.
