She needs no introduction after her breathtaking performances in The Devil Wears Prada and Les Misérables! Anne Hathaway is an award-winning actress who began her career in 2001. Her first film called The Princess Diaries became a major commercial success! But what is she up to now?
Almost everyone knows that Anne stayed vegan for a few years for her roles like Catwoman and Fantine in “Les Miserables”. She reverted to eating fish a few weeks ago. Why? Hathaway says that her brain feels like a “computer rebooting,” according to an interview in Tatler. Being vegan is no biggie for Anne as she once lived off two thin squares of dried oatmeal paste! That’s per day, not a meal! What really made Anne quit being a vegan though? It was during a dinner in a Michelin-star restaurant with her husband and actor Matt Damon…The actor told the chef he was up for trying whatever the chef would recommend and wanted to serve them. It was a spontaneous decision to eat fish that night and it changed everything for Anne’s diet.
She’s never had a public reputation as a big drinker or partier. However, Anne didn’t love the role alcohol was playing in her life. Thus, her decision to quit last October. The reason to quit is her son Jonathan. Here’s what Anne said during an interview:
“I’m going to stop drinking while my son is living in my house,” she told DeGeneres, “just because I don’t totally love the way I do it, and he’s getting to an age where he really does need me all the time in the morning.”
“I did one school run one day where I dropped him off at school; I wasn’t driving, but I was hung over and that was enough for me,” Hathaway continued. “I didn’t love that one.”
What is Anne up to these days? She looked stunning at the St. Regis Hotel in New York! She wore a sheer black polka dot top, which showed off a daring bustier underneath. Anne teamed her high-fashion garment with a pair of high-waisted leather trousers. It featured button detail across the midriff and pockets. Her co-star and producer Rebel joined her at the event, wearing a hot pink blazer. The movie they’ll both feature in, called The Hustle, is set to come out in May 2019.
This hilarious comedy is about female scam artists. One low rent – Rebel and the other high class – Anne. They team up to take down the dirty rotten men who wronged them! Both masters of the art of the fleece have different ways of filling up their pockets in the movie. One goes for bars while the other ensnare her prey in glitzy casinos.
